Algebra

Hi, Yesterday morning my class and I had algebraic equations, in algebra there are some things that are  special because in younger ages instead of using blank boxes you have to use letter that are y and x, These two are mostly often use, but once you get older they use different letter instead of x and y. Also in algebra whatever you do to one side you must do something to the other side it has to stay balance cause if you do it right right you might not the right answer so whatever you do to one side do it to the other side.

DLO - Reading Stratgies

Gardening

Today after morning tea we had to come inside because miss had to say something to us. After miss finished talking to us miss said boys and line up outside quietly,once she told us to line up she told the girls to line up.After everyone lined up we started walking towards the garden while we were walking we had to walk quietly because mr hendricks was testing people in room9. once we arrived there we started to weed. When we were weeding the garden, miss said that whoever gets the biggest pile of weed gets a freddo chocolate after miss said that the boys were cheating because they wanted the chocolate after. little bit later it started to rain , then we came back to class.once we we all came to class we carry on with our work.

Prodigy

Hi,I am going to talk about prodigy, prodigy is a math game that you can play.If you haven't played it you should play it,in my class most of us like prodigy,because it is so cool that it's popular,on prodigy i'm level 59 but on my new account i'm level 42,on prodigy there a math stuff that are hard as well as easy ones, I mostly get easy ones,also when you make a account you can chose your skin,eyes and your hair as well as your colour of your hair.After you do all of that you can chose your grade, after you do your grade you can start you first mission.  

Auckland Zoo

Yesterday, morning room 11,12,6 and room 10 went outside of the junior side where the hall is,the only thing we had to wait there because we had to wait for the bus.

Once the bus arrived room 6 and room 11 went on their own bus, while they were getting on their bus we went on our bus, after everyone got on their own buss we all head off to the zoo, it only took 50 - 40 minutes to get there.Once we all got there everyone had a seat on the bus and waited for the man to tell us when to get off the bus, when he came he everyone stand up,once we all went to the center to talk about the rules, about the zoo when we were talking about the rules there was pecock that came pass us because we were so quiet it wasn’t afraid to walk past us.The two zoo keeper names were frazer and his twin brother john.When they were talking about the rules we had to wait for kirsty.When kirsty came we had split up to one zookeeper.Once we started we went to this place where the tuatara was.The most thing that easy to find was tuatara also as the skins .After the we went to see the kea is a bird that likes to scare you when we went to go see them we saw the feeding the one who was the dominator. After that we went to see the wallabies also as the emu while we were there mrs maude and mr were taking photos of the animals. After we saw that we went to go see the several as well as the hippo, when we went there the hippos past away.Then we saw the sign said that the rhino is going move there after that we went to see the tortoise while we were there we saw the mcaw then we went to go seal when we went there we didn’t see the penguin  because they were in their house then we went to go see the seal because they lived right next to them  after that we went to go eat.

After we ate we went to the front of the entrance while we were there we had to wait or the to come.When the bus arrived room 6 went first then room 12 went on their own bus.Room 11,10 got up and went own bus after we all got on our own bus we all went back to school once we arrived to school we asked mr if we can lay down in class yes you then we yes we only laid down only until the bell rang.After the bell rang we all went home and had a nice sleep.

Bearing 270717

 This morning we were doing bearing. What is bearing? Well bearing is a direction taken from North and going in a clockwise direction. Another way to say North, East, South, West is a cardinal point, this morning we had to do a map on google drawing and this is mine: 

1. Move the pirate sword North,East from Cannibal Covs
2. Move the pirate ship South,West from Indian Camp
3. Move the pirate hat North,West from Mermaid Lagoon
4. Move the treasure chest South,East from Skull Rock

I have sent this to one of my friends they said " This is great work keep it up " we also got some pictures off google to help up do our maths.
