Today we had to do digital time as well as analogue time because some of us didn't know the different of analogue time and digital time.

Bearing 270717

 This morning we were doing bearing. What is bearing? Well bearing is a direction taken from North and going in a clockwise direction. Another way to say North, East, South, West is a cardinal point, this morning we had to do a map on google drawing and this is mine: 

1. Move the pirate sword North,East from Cannibal Covs
2. Move the pirate ship South,West from Indian Camp
3. Move the pirate hat North,West from Mermaid Lagoon
4. Move the treasure chest South,East from Skull Rock

I have sent this to one of my friends they said " This is great work keep it up " we also got some pictures off google to help up do our maths.

Eid Mubarak

Today we made card for our teacher Mrs petersen.Here is the card:

What is Eid Mubarak? Eid is a muslim holiday.Today is Eid-al Fitr.Muslim throughout the world celebrate this festival.It Marks the end of the fasting period-Ramadon.

Today we learnt how to make a quality blog. We learnt that in a blog comment we must have the following:

a greeting 

a Connection with the writer 

a positive statement - say something nice.

add new facts

WE also learnt the before we publish our comment we must.

Speach marks

Kia orana .Today we are  using speech marks in our writing. If you don't know what speech marks are they are 66 and 99.They are most likely to be used in movie titles, as well as when people are talking. We also learnt what is a dialogue. A dialogue is when two people are talking. Also speech marks go around what's being said.

In my speech quiz i got 100% because some of the question were easy. Also some of them were hard but at least I got them right.

3D Shapes

This whole term we are learning about geometry Yesterday my whole class made some 3D shapes using nets.I created a tetrahedron. A tetrahedron is a pyramid with a triangular base.I found it fun to create. My shape has 4 faces 6 edges and 4 corners.

Today we learnt about the different types of angles.We took pictures of ourselves showing the different types of angles and inserted them in a presentation.This is my work
